THE ANALYSIS OF THE MOVIE "3 IDIOTS"

 

        The movie criticises the educational system which is based on competition of the students. There is a real physical and psychological struggle for the characters of the movie who study at engineering department of the university which is one of the greatest in lndia. One of the  influential focus in the movie is to interrogate the meaning of the life that is presented to you before accepting it. undoubtedly that is not the only thing being interrogated bu the characters,  they also draw people's attention to the education system based rote-learning, the chaos which the students who hasn't got their own future goals and dreams live in, and the teachers who completely forget about their educator identity and force the students to live with monotype thinking model. Consequently, there occur some questions in my mind such as ; 

-Is it possible to learn by practising and willingfully?

-Is it possible to provide this kind of learning and teaching atmosphere for my students and myself? 

        These questions are really crucial for our education system in Turkey. The individuals, who are offended by their teachers at schools or parents at home, are getting accustomed to live as slaves of the society. And these individuals who do not object to injustice and claim their rights may not be a thread for the mechanism of society but it is literally a bir thread for development and improvement of society. That is why, we should first notice the individuals differences and accept these differences instead of tolerating them, after that we need to provide a suitable education environment according to our students’ İnterests and personalities. In this way, we can show our respect to the students’ way of thinking and   decisions.
